How to Use the Exam Dua (Step by Step)
- Make the intention to seek beneficial knowledge for Allah’s sake, not only for marks.
- Say Bismillah and recite Rabbi zidni ilma before each study session.
- Study with a plan: revise, practise past papers, sleep enough and pray on time.
- On exam day, recite Rabbish-rahli sadri before entering and ask Allah in your own words for calm and clear recall.
- After the exam, accept the result as Allah’s decree and keep striving.
Why Students Make Dua Before an Exam
Exams create pressure even for well-prepared students. Dua turns that pressure into worship and reliance on Allah. The Prophet ﷺ said “Dua is worship” (Tirmidhi 3372), so a student who asks Allah for understanding is already earning reward.
